Do you supply and install, or is it labour-only?
Full supply and install. We source the door, supply the hardware, and fit the lot. You don’t need to buy anything separately or coordinate multiple trades. One price, one team, one visit. We don’t do labour-only jobs. Too many things go wrong when someone else supplies the door.
How long does a front door replacement take?
The install itself takes a few hours. Old door out, new one in, hardware fitted, seals checked, adjustments done. From order to install, standard and StormBloc™ doors take 2-3 weeks. Architectural timber doors (NORTH/HAZE/EMBER/BONE/EVEN) take 6-8 weeks because they’re manufactured to order. Your house is never left without a door overnight.
Can I keep my existing door frame?
Usually, yes. Most of the time the frame is fine and we just replace the door leaf. We check the frame condition during site measure. If there’s rot in the frame, especially at the base, we’ll let you know and quote to replace that section. We won’t just hang a new door on a rotten frame.
What’s the difference between standard and architectural doors?
Standard doors come from a pre-designed range. Good quality timber and timber/glass options that suit most homes. Quick turnaround, competitive price. Architectural doors are designed from scratch and built at the Bespoke Doors workshop in Moorabbin. Custom sizes, unique panel layouts, specialty timbers, unusual glass configurations. Takes longer and costs more, but you get exactly what you want.
